'There is this urgent feeling that I must improve me, and this is critically important.' We are all vulnerable, and that is not a bad thing. It seems slightly silly that we sometimes pretend particular people are impervious to penetrations of pain. I think it is good to allow yourself to be open enough to share what you have to offer, as every one of us have our own perspective and way of understanding the world, and therefore can bring something unique to the table. Why should we live in ways that clams us up from sharing deep connections with others? Although, this does open us up to experiencing hurt. Keep that in mind, but don't let that keep the candle you have lit under the table, as opposed to on top. Keep pursuing the stars and moons and let all the vultures, sharks, snakes, and wolves dedicate their time to pursuing you.
