"It does not due to dwell on dreams and forget to live," was written by J.K. Rowling via the dialogue of Dumbledore in the first Harry Potter novel. This line has always been striking to me. So many people believe that pursuing your dreams is SUCH a great thing, but like most circumstances, there is an equal contrary to counter the positives. Untold stories of goal-pursuing, oftentimes, are quite ugly. It is silly to deter special and easy pleasures in life, such as family/friendships and occasionally slowing down to enjoy some relaxation. Plants like these can wither if you don't throw water on them. I know I always underscore work work work, but I constantly have to remind myself: there is so much more than accomplishment.
